We invite all of our new members and any members who have never been to the kennels to join us for an exclusive evening at the kennels. This Open House is your opportunity to meet our Huntsman Tony Gammell, our Masters, and — most importantly — the hounds.

Enjoy an introduction to the traditions that make foxhunting so unique, and put faces with names as you get to know fellow members of the Wateree Hounds. Comfortable footwear is encouraged, as we may take the hounds on a brief walk — yes, all 30 of them!

Appetizers and drinks will be served. As a special gift, all participants will go home with a copy of Wadsworth’s Riding to Hounds in America, a classic introduction to the nuances of the sport.
